Panda Endangerment
There are fewer than 1,000 pandas in China and less than 100 in
captivity!
There
are 12 panda parks in China but poaching is still a problem.
When people move into the panda's habitat and chop down the bambo, the pandas die.
Pandas do not breed well in zoos so it's difficult for the numbers in captivity to grow.
In China, pandas are hunted for their beautiful black and white fur.
The panda is a prey to jackals and leopards
